My favorite concealers to date have been Eve Pearl's Salmon
concealers, which come in four tones of peach, which hide
dark circles & bags because it is the complimentary color to
those blue lines and circles! you can find them at
http://www.evepearl.com/ or at her boutique. The drugstore
one I found that works well, just because it covered well
without any added powder over it was L'Oreal's True Match
concealer in a small tube. The smallest amount covered one
of my client's dark circles really well and naturally. I
also have always loved Dior's concealers in a tube in Pale
and Golden Beige, but the other brands have a full range for
varying skin tones. Love the articles! Coco Paladino @

I agree totally...the natural look is always in, and skin
should look like skin even when you are wearing some
foundation, bronzer, blush, as all of these beauties are
wearing along with eyemakeup, especially mascara and liner,
which work together to make your lashes look fuller.
Mascara makes you look like you have liner on and liner
makes it look like you have fuller lashes, and guys just
want to kiss a soft natural lip without feeling like they
are going to get a ton of color on them. I have always been
told that I am all about the eyes, and men always love the
makeup I do, even when the eye is stronger for the evening.
But take care of your skin, so you can show that pretty face
glowing through a sheer foundation, and you know that all
those kisses from your man makes your lips poutier
naturally! Enhance that gorgeous face, don't hide behind
makeup! It is true that men who love us see us as beauties
at our most natural, so just love your face!! -

Although I agree that you should have a vision and follow
that vision to it's completion, I disagree a bit with the
idea that a bride should save upon her makeup application
and just go to a counter, where one does not know the
expertise of the person behind the counter, nor if they will
really be there the day of your wedding when you need them,
and can you also coordinate your look with your hairstyle,
all of which can be done in the privacy of your home or
hotel room? Can this person behind the counter also have
your wedding party complete your vision of a beautiful
bouguet surrounding you, as the bride. After all, as the
author says, the day goes quickly and what you are left with
are your photos and how you and your bridal party looked,
and you all should be your best selves. I notice that hair
wasn't mentioned, and you wouldn't want to scrimp on any of
these details. You should have at least one consultation
day hair and makeup, or more, if that makes you feel
comfortable. Do it on a day you have other things to do
that are fun and take you through an evening perhaps, to see
how it lasts. Adjustments can always be made to a look,
whether that be the lip color or texture, etc. Coco
