A college girl starts a blog, Knight Cat, that quickly rises to the top fifteen most followed blogs on bloglovin', without having any idea how it got there--such is the logic of the unpremeditated success of Cat Khan, fashion fanatic.

1. Where's your hometown and where do you call home now?
Planet earth.

2. What's your number one reason for starting a blog?
I wanted to document things that I found inspiring, sort of like a virtual scrapbook.

3. What are you studying?
Art history and journalism.

4. How would your best friend describe you?
Dazed and confused.

5. What is the ultimate item on your wish list this season?
A fuzzy Phillip Lim cardigan.

6. Vogue, Elle or Harper's Bazaar?
I like all of them equally for different reasons...though Elle has some of the best editorials.

7. If you had to describe your daily uniform what would it be?
My usual outfit would be a leather jacket, black Cheap Mondays, a vintage t-shirt, some sweet black boots topped off with a hat of some sort. I'm usually decked out in tons of jewelry, but other than that I'm pretty practical with what I wear.

8. Favorite magazine editrix past, present, or fictional?
Carine Roitfeld
of French Vogue

9. If you could emulate the style of any fictional character, who would it be?
Angela Chase
(My So Called Life) and Margot Tenenbaum (Royal Tenebaums).

10. You were offered a corporate clothing allowance from one designer--who would you want it to be?
I don't think that there is one designer that does it all for me. I sort of just take aspects of all sorts of collections when it comes to what I wear. I couldn't possibly choose one.

11. If you had a time machine, which era would you visit first?
The '60s, you know those Bob Dylan days.

12. What movie could you watch 30 times and still love unconditionally?
I think it's a tie between Bottle Rocket and Motorcycle Diaries

13. What is playing on your iPod right now?
Phrazes for the Young by Julian Casablancas.

14. What's next?
Studying.
