Your breathing is getting heavy as you stare at the sweat forming on his ripped biceps. Your arms are shaking, your stomach's tightening, and just when you think you can't hold it for another second, he says,
"That was great, baby. You just upped your usual reps from 12 to 15! Time for cardio!"
So, is a sweat-sesh with your sweetheart as sexy and steamy as we all imagine, or is it just a hot mess? It depends on a couple of different factors.

Fitness Level:
Working out together and enjoying it can be hard unless both of you are at a similar fitness level. Otherwise, one will constantly feel like they are playing catch-up, while the other feels dragged behind. You should challenge one another! Nothing says sexy like a little competition. That said, your man will feel empowered if you let him teach you a thing or two about the weight room.
Type of workout:
To work out as a couple, both participants should enjoy the activity at hand. If only one of you enjoys running, don't do it. Pick a sport that you can both agree on, whether it is soccer, tennis, tackle football, basketball (skins vs. shirts, maybe).
A sense of humor:
If neither of you are willing to laugh at yourselves, the experience will be miserable. Working out means jiggling, bouncing, back sweat, frizzy hair, and red faces. You probably won't look your sexiest, but looking good is for after the gym, right? If you make exercising together about enjoying each other's company, encouraging one another and having fun, then we say it's hot.
