Summer is all about taking a break from the books, so what better time to introduce a different kind of library, The Library of Color. Jane Schub presents STRANGEBEAUTIFUL Library of Color, a collection of artistically inspired hues, for what are soon to become your ten (or twenty in the case of mani/pedi's) best assets.
Schub's design experience is reflected in her ability to draw on somewhat obscure, but historically important inventions, and pair them with color theory to produce nail polish. One of her scarlet-red tones is an adaptation of the Ettore Sottsass Red Valentine typewriter.
Schub stated, "My intent has been to develop a different approach to nail color that is not fashion driven and position STRANGEBEAUTIFUL™ Library of Color more as an accessory for your hand than just another nail polish."
Schub proves that an artist's eye is an essential part of evaluation when creating nameless colors that speak volumes for themselves.
Two eight-shade collections, STRANGEBEAUTIFUL volumes 1 and 2 are available for $79, at bergdorfgoodman.com.
