Who doesn’t absolutely love celebrities and the aura of pure insanity they bring with them everywhere? We are even more thrilled when they write entire books based on their less-than-conventional lives. And during the hot summer months, there’s nothing more we’d rather be doing than getting a peek into the lives of our favorite celebs while sitting on the beach.

Look, let’s be honest here: These books aren’t exactly written by Shakespeare — more like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and notorious momager Kris Jenner. While you may not read anything life changing (at least not in the traditional sense), these books are the perfect distractions when you’re relaxing on your lounge chair staring at the ocean. There’s no harm in taking a break, is there?

Click through the gallery above to check out some of the best ways to get your celebrity fix this summer!
