As I've stated before here on this very blog, I'm usually pretty violently opposed to sneakers being worn in any context but the gym. Flat shoes in general have to be per-retty special to get me out of my typical shoe-uniform of 4-inches-or-bust. But these! These Jeremy Scott designed shoes for Adidas are beyond cool. In fact, they're so cool, I can't tell whether or not they're actually ugly. All I know is that, at the very least, these belong out of the gym and on the street. On a Brooklyn street, most likely. But even I, in all my frilly-dress-wearing, Chelsea-living, decidedly-non-hipster- ...

Like most people living in the bustling capitals of the world, Seoul’s denizens are a relatively fashionable bunch. The younger generation is certainly keenly aware of leading fashion trends, like skinny jeans for boys, colorful hoodies, and the versatile black leggings that girls tuck under just about every kind of skirt. To say that I was a bit of an overachiever while growing up would be an understatement. By the time I reached the tender age of five years old, I was enrolled in classes for piano, jazz dance, tap dance, ballet, gymnastics, and violin. What can I say--my mother is a stage mom, through and through. I think that this level of intense physical activity I maintained throughout my adolescence and my teen years accounts for the fact that I've always classified things like yoga and meditation in the "fake slacker sports" category. "What could possibly be so hard about stretching??" I would ponder wit ...

This is exactly the scene that awaited London Fashion Week attendees upon entering "Stella's Gym," a showcase to the brand new adidas by Stella McCartney collection for spring 2009.
