After an idyllic sun-soaked weekend with the StyleCaster team out in Montauk, we're all back in the office plugging away at our computers, as is standard operating procedure (as hard as it is to believe, frolicking on beaches and hanging on the deck at Surf Lodge in Calypso linen isn't exactly typical office protocol. This summer, Montauk, which lies on the very eastern tip of Long Island, has become my official home away from home. The relaxed surf town is known as the anti-Hamptons Hamptons, where flip-flops reign over Louboutins and the only DVF you'll see will most likely be in the form of a teeny little bikini. Thus, my style has followed suit and evolved into a beachy, carefree, maxi-dress aesthetic that makes me venture into my local Calypso St. Barth boutique more frequently than I'd like to admit. Farrah Fawcett looking relaxed and decidedly tomboy-ish. You know it's a weird day when two larger-than-life legends pass away within hours of one another. I was especially saddened by the death of Farrah Fawcett. Through her heyday, she exhibited style, grace, and spunk...not to mention, great hair. Annabel Vartanian, me, Kristian Laliberte, and Erin Lucas After weeks of meticulous planning and countless small(ish) fires put out, StyleCaster and Fame Game's party co-hosted by Lacoste went off without a hitch last night. The Gates (a new venue in the heart of Chelsea) was all-out gorgeous, the drinks were flowing and the music by DJ Neil Jackson (a.k.a. DJ Panther) had our guests hitting the dance floor by the end of the night. Here at StyleCaster, we were thrilled to have all of our friends come out and help us celebrate and raise awareness for the Hale House Center, one of our favorite c ...
