I don't spend a whole lot of time searching for jewelry online. I prefer that pieces find me in some serendipitous way. Which is why I almost flipped when I found this Wouters & Hendrix ring on one of my favorite online destinations: www.aloharag.com. Jewelry designers Katrin Wouters and Karen Hendrix both graduated at the famous Royal Academy of Fine Arts, section goldsmithing, in their native town of Antwerp. Every year, I do something nice for myself on my birthday. I try to choose something that will have a positive impact on my outlook for the rest of the year. Usually my birthday gifts tend to be a little luxurious, like my trip to Turks & Caicos last year. To me, that was something i deserved and knew I would not be receiving from anyone else. This year, I've decided the one extravagance I want to gift myself is time. Last I spoke to Father Time, he refused to reimburse me for days gone by.
