Music & Lyrics--The Runway Version

One of the things that I look forward to most whenever fashion week rears it's inevitable head is hearing the music that the designers and their respective music directors/DJ's have selected to accompany the shows. To me, the music selection can make or break a runway (i.e. no matter how bad the clothes are, how could you possibly be unhappy with some Ting Ting's blasting in your ear?!). If the music choices happen to be especially brilliant, I often find myself scribbling the lyrics into my notebook (where, er, I'm actually supposed to be documenting the clothes) in anticipation of figuring out what the song was at a later time. This can become distracting.
That's why I was so excited to hear about Agenda Inc, a luxury strategy consultancy based in Paris and San Francisco that has compiled and ranked the playlists that accompanied every single runway show for the Spring 2009 season.
